State Senator and Senate Majority Leader Bill Monning and Assembly member Mark Stone will discuss key issues facing the Monterey Bay community and the state at the November 21 luncheon meeting of the Democratic Women of Monterey County. The public is invited.
Senator Monning has long been an advocate for health care and environmental issues. He is Senate Majority Leader and a member of Senate Committees on Budget, Health, Judiciary, Legislative Ethics, Natural Resources & Water, and Budget Subcommittee #3 on Health and Human Services. Assembly member Stone provides leadership on environmental protection, child welfare and public safety. He serves as Chair of the Assembly Judiciary Committee, and is a member of Committees on Natural Resources, Human Services, Budget Subcommittee #5 on Public Safety, and Banking and Finance. Stone has earned his reputation as a leader in helping California’s most vulnerable residents.
