On-line Zoom Webinar - free to DWMC Members
and the general public
Delaine Eastin is running for Chair of the California Democratic Party because she believes that together we can build a better Democratic Party. Join the DWMC to learn about her vision for the Party. The public is welcome to attend.
We will also hold a brief DWMC business meeting and elect the 2021-2023 Board of Directors and Officers.
Delaine Eastin has a record of proven leadership. She was elected to the CA Assembly in 1986 and is the first and only woman to serve as State Superintendent of Public Instruction. Eastin promoted universal preschool and was a champion for public libraries, enhanced technology, and stronger technical and vocational training. She promoted statewide standards, accountability, smaller K-3 classes, increased parental involvement and teacher training.
Delaine's goals for the Democratic Party involve creating a culture of inclusive management, transparent decision making, and a vision that grows our party while bringing back those that feel disconnected. She will create a sense of a shared mission and teamwork, as she has done in her past leadership roles.
Reservations by Tuesday, January 19, 2021, are available online here.
There is no charge; once registered, participants will receive a link to use to sign into the webinar.
